Illus. by Sylvia Long.

This book is just as attractive as last year's An Egg is Quiet by the same author-illustrator team. The watercolor drawings alone make this a book worthy of consideration. The many aspects of seeds are simply and appealingly presented.
This book is a gem. Our science teacher has used it with several different grade levels and loves its simplicity and lovely illustrations.
