Second. The bright, beautiful illustrations in this book compliment the three well-known spirituals. Great for music classes and for history tie-ins. For example, a line from This Little Light of Mine is mentioned in the book, Birmingham, 1963. Great opportunity to pull out Bryan's book and share the entire spiritual with students.
